I highly recommend Ionie Mcbeam, we've used her both times we were in Jamaica. She is such wonderful person and was always where she said she'd be. Ionie took us to Dunn's river falls, and then took a drive through fern gulley and back to the marketplace. We set a time for her to pick us up and take us back to the port (we were at the more "industrial" port, not the one near the marketplace) and Ionie met us at the entrance to the marketplace.

We loved Ionie Mcbeam! she was so darn nice. We had a wonderful time with Ionie. We did the falls, shopping, toured the area and things like that. I can't say enough nice things about her.

After our tour, we headed back to the ship to drop off stuff and change our clothes. We were going to spend the afternoon at Margaritaville. We were so surprised to see Ionie in the parking lot. she was waiting for us. We'd forgotten a few things in her van and she wanted to return them to us! I can't believe it, but we left our video of the falls, a bag with a couple of shirts and a pair of water shoes in the van. she didn't have to wait, but she did. she then walked in Island Village with us and arranged for my daughter and her friend to get their hair braided.

The only thing we didn't do...and I wished we had...was eat at one of the local restaurants. I'd read a lot about The Ruins, and Bibibips (sp?) and wanted to try one of them, but we had our college kids with us and they wanted to go to Margaritaville. I caved since they went along with what we wanted to do in the morning. The food at Margaritaville was good...but I really wanted to try a more local place.

Hey, We just got back from our cruise to Jamaica and Grand Cayman. Booked with Ionie and she was great with the email responses. Then we got there and Lewis was waiting for us. He was soooo nice. He was willing to take us anywhere we wanted to go. We were with 4 other families/groups. Total of 13 I think. We went to the falls and then took a ride through Fern Gully and he showed us all different things and dropped us off for some shopping. He was very accommodating. Would definitely use again. Have fun.
